2022 壬寅年 CALENDAR BAG

2022년 임인년을 맞아, 보고, 걸어두고, 들고 다니며 특별한 날을 표시할 수 있는 달력 가방을 만들었습니다. 임인년(壬寅年)은 호랑이의 해입니다. 호랑이는 예부터 잡귀와 액운을 쫓는 존재로 여겨져, 조선시대에는 새해 초 “호축삼재(虎逐三災)”라는 글귀를 집 기둥이나 문에 붙이곤 했습니다. 2022년 한 해도 맑고 힘찬 기운으로 시작하길 바라는 마음을 담아, 한쪽 면에는 여러 마리 호랑이 그림을, 다른 쪽에는 한 해의 달력을 배치했습니다. 함께 제작된 링 핀(Ring Pin)을 활용하면 특별한 날을 직접 표시할 수도 있습니다. 🐯

To mark the Year of the Black Tiger in 2022, we created a calendar bag that you can hang, carry around, and use to highlight special days. In the Korean zodiac, the tiger has long been regarded as a guardian that wards off evil spirits and misfortune. During the Joseon Dynasty, it was customary to hang calligraphy reading “虎逐三災, the tiger drives away the three calamities” on doorways at the start of the year. Wishing for a bright and energetic start to 2022, we illustrated several tigers on one side of the bag and placed a full-year calendar on the other. The bag comes with a Ring Pin that lets you mark meaningful dates throughout the year. 🐯
