나비꿈
Butterfly Dream

온양민속박물관의 전시 «동물과 문양»에 참여했습니다. 민속공예품에서 자주 볼 수 있는 나비문양을 재해석한 포스터를 출품했습니다. 📺

We participated in the exhibition Animals and Patterns at the Onyang Folk Museum, presenting a poster that reinterprets the butterfly motif commonly found in traditional folk crafts. 📺

작업 노트:
(번쩍) 어느날 장자는 꿈에 나비가 되었다.
(번쩍) 나비는 기쁘고 자유롭게 날아다니느라 장자임을 잊었다.
(번쩍) 그러다 문득 깨어보니 다시 장자가 되었다.
(번쩍) 장자가 나비의 꿈을 꾼 것일까? 나비가 장자의 꿈을 꾸고 있는 것일까?

Designer’s Note:
(Flash) One day, Zhuangzi dreamed he was a butterfly.
(Flash) The butterfly fluttered about joyfully and freely, forgetting he was Zhuangzi.
(Flash) Then suddenly, he awoke — and was Zhuangzi again.
(Flash) But was it Zhuangzi who dreamed he was a butterfly? Or a butterfly now dreaming it is Zhuangzi?
